"Batman Theme & Other Bat Songs" is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter, composer, and arranger Neal Hefti, released in 1966 on the RCA Victor label.

The album was released at the height of the incredible "Batmania" wave that swept the United States following the launch of the cult comedy television series "Batman" (starring Adam West). Neal Hefti composed the show's theme song, which instantly became an international phenomenon, and this album is his definitive musical tribute to the Gotham universe.

The album's sound is the quintessence of the vibrant, carefree, and slightly wild pop culture of the mid-1960s. Hefti, a recognized master of big band jazz, combined his orchestra's powerful brass section with the then-fashionable surf guitar effects, pumping twist rhythms, and playful backing vocals. The music is incredibly energetic, cinematic, and evokes the aesthetics of comic books and pop art.
