YELKA - Jeans (2026) [Hi-Res]

The Berlin-based trio YELKA has released their new album on the Karaoke Kalk label, concluding the band's "America trilogy." Recorded live under the direction of producer Arne Bergner and mastering engineer Norman Nitzsche, the record blends elements of American indie rock, pop, jazz, and krautrock. The release's sonic identity is shaped by unconventional guitar harmonies, a prominent bass groove, and vocals reminiscent of the Velvet Underground style. Guest musicians Federico Corazzini and Daniel Nentwig contributed to key tracks, including the nine-minute, guitar-heavy "Walking Whispering" and a cover of Steely Dan's "King of the World."
