Dave Huismans, widely known as 2562 and A Made Up Sound, has released a 40-minute minimalist dub album under his new alias In Transit via the FELT label. Compiled from archival loops over a twelve-year period as part of a personal meditative practice, the release delivers a deep, immersive downbeat experience devoid of urgent rhythmic drives. The album explores subconscious hypnagogia, seamlessly blending industrial clanks, ambient chords, subaquatic jazz undertones, and crystalline synthesizer motifs that rival the work of established genre pioneers.
