Lakhdar Hanou's album "Argile" serves as a musical interpretation of ancient Mesopotamian myths and legends. Centered on the figure of priestesses as keepers of sacred cultural heritage, the work draws from historical narratives, including the Epic of Gilgamesh and the myths of Babel, as well as the poetry of Adonis. Hanou masterfully bridges ancient texts inscribed on clay tablets with contemporary musical expression.
