The record's core concept revolves around themes of motion, nature, fatherhood, and internal growth, drawing initial inspiration from vocalist Mez Sanders-Green’s poetic notebook sketches written during a walking route across the UK. The musical landscape of the release, epitomized by the lead single "The Dollywaggon," blends sharp post-punk guitars, spiraling synths, and a driving rhythm section, transforming personal reflections into vivid, instinctive arrangements.
