Galdorcraeft - The Nine (2023)

Formed in 2020, the British dark neofolk outfit Galdorcræft creates a distinctive, ritualistic sound at the intersection of antiquity and modernity. The project's work draws heavily from Germanic and Celtic traditions, paganism, and mythology. In their compositions, the musicians employ authentic archaic instruments—including lyres, nyckelharpa, horns, and bones—and blend Old English lyrics with modern English. Released in 2023, their debut album The Nine established the band's reputation for innovative historical and mythological reinterpretation within the contemporary folk genre.
