Metik - Cordier (2026) [Hi-Res]

On June 19th, the duo Metik (Bram Stadhouders and Luca Marini) will release their debut album Cordier via Atomnation, a project developed over four years under the influence of the Lake Lugano landscape. Drawing from their academic backgrounds in jazz and neoclassical music, the artists deliberately shift toward an electronic language, blending live instrumentation (guitar, drums, percussion, flute) with analog synthesis and intricate sound design. The release features seven diverse tracks that evolve from cinematic ambient spaces to deep rhythmic structures and powerful climaxes. The album represents an organic balance between live performance, instrumental sensitivity, melodic IDM, and contemporary composition.
