In the early and mid-1960s, Pérez Prado frequently experimented with pop hits and instrumental themes. For this album, the Mambo King selected the most famous, iconic, and box-office hits from Hollywood and European cinema of the early 1960s, completely rearranging them in his signature explosive Latin American style.
