Ray Stevens - 1,837 Seconds Of Humor (1962)

The debut studio album by American performer Ray Stevens, titled 1,837 Seconds of Humor, was released in 1962 via Lowery Music Co., Inc. The record features original novelty and comedy material, including the breakthrough hit "Ahab the Arab" and the artist's first Top 40 single. The original release includes detailed biographical liner notes about the author. In 1971, the Pickwick Records label reissued the recording under the alternative title Rock & Roll Show, introducing a modified artistic cover and a truncated track listing.
