The album was released on June 30, 2026, via Grandjam Records.

The album follows his previous solo work, "Time Waits For No One" (2025). Lyrically and conceptually, "Ship Of Fools" explores deep personal and philosophical themes: longing, love, inner disappointment, existential hope, and emotional survival in the modern world.

Musically, this is high-quality, mature, old-school hard rock with a strong blues influence, rich guitar arrangements, and Berggren's expressive, raspy vocals, reminiscent of classic rock singers of the 70s and 80s. Stefan wrote the material himself and also recorded vocals, guitars, and keyboards, supported by a rhythm section (Johannes Nordell on drums and Pomma on bass).[/center]
