The album "Jutna" is the result of an international creative collaboration between six musicians from various countries, recorded on the Greek island of Hydra in 2024. The title, meaning "it is time" in the Wolof language, reflects the artists' aspiration for global peace and mutual understanding. Musically, the album presents an eclectic synthesis of traditional West African instrumentation—kora, balafon, and djembe—blended with elements of London jazz, psychedelic rock, and electronic textures. Delivered by the organization Music in Exile, the project underscores the unifying power of art amidst modern migration challenges, positioning the record as a manifesto for collaboration, joy, and shared human values.
