Danny Roadkill Thompson is a founding member and original guitarist of the nationally recognized punk band Sloppy Seconds.
Since parting ways with Sloppy Seconds in 1993 Danny has continued to perform as a singer/guitarist with many of his other projects including
Hot Rod Nebula, Bigger Than ELVIS and The Danny Thompson Trio as well as performing solo acoustic shows.
In 1996 he recorded a solo effort after leaving Sloppy Seconds. It has been passed around to friends and family, but never seen a real release until 2013 when it was released by F.M. Records. A fusion of Rockabilly and Punk that covers serious and fun topics in a whirlwind of upbeat drums, grooving bass, and awesome guitar leads. Truly a gem of punk history lost in time!
Now in 2022 after being sidelined from performing due to the pandemic he has written 10 new original songs that stay true to his roots with a spotlight on vocals and of course, fierce guitars!
The new album is called HOOKED! and along with the 10 new songs it includes 10 bonus tracks from his 1996 recordings that have been remastered.
