The German band RISK IT!, formed in Dresden in 2009, has spent fifteen years evolving from a local underground act into one of the key representatives of the European hardcore scene. The band earned its reputation solely through grueling tours, high-energy live performances, and dedication to the traditional values of the subculture: honesty, perseverance, and independence from the music industry. Having shaped their aggressive, grooved-out sound under the influence of genre pillars like Madball and Terror, the musicians consistently developed their style, as documented on iconic albums of past years. A new chapter in the band's career is marked by the upcoming release of the album «Mercy for None» via the prominent American label WAR Records. Produced by Nick Jett and Rene Natzel, and featuring guest vocals from cult scene icons, the record represents an evolution of their style toward a darker, heavier, and more uncompromising sound at the intersection of metallic hardcore and groove hardcore.
