Belgian banjo duo Poor Isa, featuring Ruben Machtelinckx and Frederik Leroux, expands the boundaries of their introspective sound world on their third full-length album. While maintaining their signature minimalist aesthetic and experiments with prepared banjos, the group collaborates with legendary figures of the European avant-garde.

The recording features British saxophonist Evan Parker, who introduces expressive free improvisation and extended techniques, alongside Norwegian percussionist Ingar Zach, who builds deep, resonant textures using a Gran Cassa drum and vibrating speakers. The album establishes a flexible sonic framework bridging acoustic minimalism, experimental music, and free improvisation.
