Will Sheff, Okkervil River - Extra Mile (2026)

On July 10th I will be releasing 'Extra Mile', the official follow-up to my debut album 'Nothing Special'.

'Extra Mile' picks up on the high plains where 'Nothing Special' wrapped up and then launches into space. It’s one of the most musically adventurous things I've done and it feels to me like a warm, glowing testament to the friendship of the players and the big questions we gathered together to bat around, there in a little shack at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, with the studio doors open and the summer wind blowing in.
