Oscar Dowling - In a Kingswood on St. Benedict's Street (2026) [Hi-Res]

Oscar Dowling, a New Zealand musician and former frontman of post-punk group New Gum Sarn, returns to the music scene nine years after his debut album Free and Easy with his second LP, In a Kingswood on St. Benedict's Street. Released on the indie label T & M, the album is announced with the lead single Wilding Pine—a slow, atmospheric composition that contemplates social injustice, colonial exploitation, and its generational consequences. The track features contributions from producers and musicians Liam Pram, Paul Brown, and Mason Fairey. The release is supported by a comprehensive New Zealand tour, beginning with a performance at the iconic venue Whammy, followed by five additional shows across the country.
