Night Swimming is a Bath-based British collective crafting cinematic soundscapes that fuse dream-pop with indie rock. The band channels atmosphere and texture alongside profound emotional vulnerability, inviting audiences to visualize and inhabit the worlds suggested by their music.
Their artistic identity draws from influential traditions established by Cocteau Twins, The Cure, and Radiohead, as well as contemporary voices—Wolf Alice, Daughter, Just Mustard, and Warpaint. These artists share a commitment to sensory richness and emotional clarity that directly shapes Night Swimming's evolving sound.
During summer 2025, the band recorded their EP with producer Peter Miles at Middlefarm Studios on the Devon moors. Five days of direct-to-tape recording in this atmospheric setting infused the new EP 'Melting, Sometimes Bleeding' with a haunting, immersive quality that reflects the band's fascination with darker aspects of human experience.
