RaiNao - Marcriá (2026)

RaiNao, born in Santurce, presents her second album «Marcriá» — a bold project where her signature solar reggaeton transforms into a hybrid sound of salsa, Latin jazz, Brazilian funk, Cuban guaguancó, and bolero. Each song on the record is a «sensory treatment» built on meticulously crafted arrangements where every second carries weight.
The music of Caribbean boldness reflects the tension of island life, surrounded by a sea that is both merciless and restorative. The track «(toco madera y te beso)» opens with sparse congas and cuíca, while «Mariposas en el estómago» is a love-rejection song with bomba-funk and panoramic lyrics. RaiNao's collaborations—from Willy Rodriguez of the legendary Cultura Profética to 95-year-old Omara Portuondo—showcase her gift for elevating deserving artists.
