Gabriel Palatchi - Piano Sin Fronteras (2026)

Argentine pianist Gabriel Palatchi, whose career has been shaped by more than twenty years of travel around the world, turns to the piano alone — for the first time across eight albums recording a fully solo piano record titled "Piano Sin Fronteras." Made in Buenos Aires, the work grows out of the musician's personal history: each piece stands for a distinct place, memory, or emotional chapter of his life, from his home city to imagery of the Middle East. In its sound, Palatchi's Argentine roots meet the diverse cultural influences he has absorbed through years of touring and collaboration — Latin jazz, tango, and world music. Setting aside ensemble and other instruments, the musician builds an intimate, almost diary-like narrative in which the piano becomes the sole mediator between personal memory and listener. It is precisely this bareness of form that makes the album, in Palatchi's own words, the most personal and direct statement of his catalog so far — a borderless journey distilled into the sound of a single piano.
