Jano — Faros Eolos (2024) is the fifth full-length album by the Argentine band Jano from Córdoba, released in April 2024. It is a large-scale conceptual work that develops the traditions of classical and South American art rock.

"Faros Eolos" (Lighthouses of Eolus) is a deep dive into a melancholic, complex, and cinematic musical world. The musicians combine monumental symphonic arrangements, virtuosic keyboard passages in the spirit of old-school 70s rock, and a dense rhythm section characteristic of the Latin American prog scene.

The concept of the release is built around mythological imagery (Aeolus is the god of the winds), existential reflections, surreal poetry, and images of fading, ghostly cities. As befits classic prog rock, the emphasis here is on long, multi-layered compositions, where musical themes replace each other, creating a sense of epic narrative.
