The album "Malelingue" (released in 1994 on the Carosello label) is the fifteenth studio album by Italian cantautore, guitarist, and rock musician Ivan Graziani.
"Malelingue" ("Evil Tongues") became one of the most notable and successful of Graziani's later albums. The title track, "Maledette Malelingue," premiered at the renowned 1994 Sanremo Festival, where it reached seventh place and brought the musician back into widespread rotation.
The album's theme is subtle irony, provincial stories, satire on society, and the theme of human gossip. Ivan Graziani, known for his artistic training and talent as an illustrator, masterfully depicted narrative portraits and everyday sketches in his lyrics.
