Ed Bruce - Night Things (1986)

Night Things is the fifteenth studio album by American country music artist Ed Bruce. It was released in 1986 via RCA Records. The album includes the singles "Nights", "Fool for Each Other" and "Quietly Crazy".

He launched his musical journey at age 17 after signing with Sun Records. Throughout his career, he achieved significant recognition as both a performer and a prolific songwriter. Ed Bruce gained widespread fame through his 1976 hit Mammas Dont Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys, which later became a major success for Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. He also penned successful tracks for artists like Tanya Tucker and Crystal Gayle before joining MCA Records in 1980. Beyond music, Ed Bruce transitioned into acting during the 1980s, notably appearing in the television revival of Maverick. He eventually stepped back from his music career in the late 1980s to focus primarily on his acting endeavors.
