Spirit of Freedom - + Sarro! (1972) Hi-Res

In the 1970s, the concept of "phantom bands" (studio bands) was extremely popular in Brazil—local musicians who covered current international chart singles under English pseudonyms. Spirit of Freedom was just such a studio project.
The album is a collection of dynamic and vibrant covers of global hits from 1971–1972. The disc features reimaginings of tracks by artists such as T. Rex ("Telegram Sam"), Chicory Tip / Giorgio Moroder ("Son of My Father"), The Sweet ("Poppa Joe"), The Fortunes ("Storm in a Teacup"), and Faces ("Stay With Me").
