Adeline Hotel - Good Timing (2021)

In his new album Good Timing, Dan Knishkowy of Adeline Hotel explores the origins of music through an intuitive, improvisational process. Created in his home during the summer of 2020, the record moves away from polished songwriting to capture a raw, ambient sound. Knishkowy layers acoustic guitar parts that react to one another to form an organic, shifting structure. By abandoning rigid pulses and preconceived compositions, he allows the music to dictate its own shape. This approach creates a collection of pieces that prioritize intimacy and the presence of the instrument. Through this process, Knishkowy provides listeners with a direct look into the source of his creative work.
