Latin Grammy-nominated bandoneonist, composer, and arranger Pablo Jaurena has released a new album titled Fueyerías, which he co-produced with Ignacio Varchausky. The project draws its name from the regional slang term for the bandoneón and highlights the instrument's unique capacity for collaborative expression. The collection features 31 performers from five different countries who span various generations and musical traditions. Through 13 tracks, the artists showcase the instrument's versatility in settings ranging from intimate duos to large-scale ensembles. By uniting legendary masters and emerging talents, Fueyerías serves as a vibrant portrait of the contemporary bandoneón scene.
