Kacper Krupa - SEKWA (2026) [Hi-Res]

Saxophonist Kacper Krupa, known for his work with Skalpel, Siema Ziemia, and the trio Łona x Konieczny x Krupa, recorded the album Sekwa. The work combines jazz, improvised music, contemporary chamber music, electronics, and ambient. The primary instruments for the recording were saxophones, flute, modular synthesizers, and drum machines, with the acoustic parts undergoing heavy electronic processing and sampling. The album title is borrowed from skateboarding, referring to a fluid sequence of tricks. This principle also defines the concept of the record, where tight structure merges with free improvisation and an intuitive search for new sounds.
