Lucho Barrios - Ayer y Siempre (2026)

"Ayer y Siempre" (2026) is an archival collection and tribute album to the legendary Peruvian singer Lucho Barrios (1935–2010), known throughout Latin America as "The King of Bolero" (El Rey del Bolero).

Since the artist himself passed away in 2010, the 2026 release is a remastered compilation of his greatest hits and rare archival recordings, timed to coincide with significant dates in the history of Peruvian music.

The album's sound is imbued with the deep melancholy, drama, and nostalgia typical of the "bolero cantinero." Barrios's piercing, recognizable vocals are accompanied by acoustic guitars, trumpets, soft percussion, and string arrangements. The album includes key compositions that made him an icon of romantic music in Peru, Chile and Ecuador.
