The Spoons - Talkback (1983)

"Talkback" (1983) is the third studio album by the Canadian new wave/synthpop band Spoons, released by Ready Records (and Vertigo Records in other countries). The album was produced by British musician and producer Nile Rodgers, known for his work with Chic, David Bowie, and Duran Duran.

"Talkback" marked a transitional moment for Spoons, marking a shift in sound from the dark, post-punk synthpop of their early years to a more rhythmic, danceable, and radio-friendly new wave.
