Brennan Wedl is the self-titled debut solo album from the Nashville-based singer-songwriter, marking her first release on the ANTI- Records label. Recorded in Durham, North Carolina, the project features a live sound co-produced with Katie Crutchfield and Brad Cook. The album blends punk, grunge, and Americana in a style the artist herself defines as "grungetry." This collection includes reworked versions of early singles alongside new material, illustrating the transition from her roots in the band Dazey & the Scouts. The project serves as a self-statement, documenting the process of self-discovery during a period of reflecting on her Midwestern upbringing and the Nashville music scene.
