Brighteye Brison - Stories (2006)

Stories is the third studio album by the Swedish band Brighteye Brison, released by the independent label LPS Records. The release cemented the band's status as one of the most prominent representatives of the contemporary Scandinavian prog scene, oriented toward the classic sounds of the 1970s.

Lush, melodic, and rich with multi-part vocal harmonies, the music is built on a traditional 70s retro sound, with extensive use of Hammond organ, Mellotron, piano, and virtuoso guitar solos. Stylistically, Brighteye Brison straddles the line between Gentle Giant, Yes, Kansas, Spock's Beard, and The Flower Kings.
