Pat Smear - So You Fell in Love With a Musician (1992)

So You Fell In Love With A Musician... (1992) is the second solo album by American guitarist and punk rock musician Pat Smear, released on the independent label SST Records.

The album was released shortly before Smear joined Nirvana as second guitarist for the In Utero tour and later co-founded Foo Fighters.

Raw, lo-fi, ironic, and eccentric, the music combines grimy garage guitar riffs, elements of acoustic indie, a swashbuckling punk groove, and Smear's signature, recognizable vocals. In spirit, the release is close to the American underground independent scene of the late '80s and early '90s (The Replacements, Meat Puppets, Minutemen).
