The Watch - The Art of Bleeding (2021)

The Art of Bleeding (2021) is the eighth studio album by the Italian neo-prog band The Watch, released by the independent label Pick Up Records.

The record marks the band's first full-length concept album, with the musicians working on it for over three years.

Dark, deep, cinematic, and intensely atmospheric, the band maintains their signature "iconic" style from early Genesis (the Foxtrot and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway eras), emphasizing Mellotron passages, Hammond organs, 12-string acoustic guitars, and Simone Rossetti's distinctive vocals. At the same time, the album features darker, more intense themes and avant-garde elements.
