Jonathan Personne - Répertoire (2026) [Hi-Res]

Canadian musician and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Personne has released his fifth full-length studio album, Rpertoire. Taking full creative control, the artist handled not only the composition and tracking, but also designed the cover art and visual identity of the project. The ten-track record concepts the artist's complex personal relationship with making music, exploring themes of burnout, artistic doubt, and rediscovering passion for his career.

Sonically, the album brings melancholic guitar motifs into brighter arrangements, blending elements of yacht rock, dream pop, shoegaze, and indie pop. The production relies on melodic basslines, repetitive rhythmic loops, and self-sampled guitar layers, creating a balance between reflective dreaminess, groovy rhythm structures, and noisy textures.
