Musician Eric Silverman has released the album "Raw Honey" via Royal Oakie Records, presenting a reimagined and stripped-down version of his previous record, "Bitter Honey." Working alongside co-producer Damien Lewis, the artist removed the lush string and horn arrangements, stacked vocals, and dense overdubs to uncover the emotional core of the songs. Inspired by the approach of The Beatles on Let It Be… Naked, Eric Silverman did not merely perform acoustic renditions, but completely altered the structure and sonic direction of the tracks. The title track substitutes standard drums with lo-fi percussion generated from the artist's own vocals routed through a slammed mixing console, while "Trapped in Reverse" receives a radically different instrumental backing. "Raw Honey" and "Bitter Honey" function as a unified two-part project rooted in indie folk and indie rock, where the reworked material complements the original release.
