Arnaud Roulin - Voyage Pentatonique (2026) [Hi-Res]

French musician Arnaud Roulin introduced his new project, Voyage Pentatonique, released on vinyl by Lying Lions Productions following his debut album Massage For Piano. The record is a cosmic chamber work constructed around a sound dialogue between piano and a "synth-phonic" orchestra. Created in the studio alongside producer Thomas de Pourquery and Nicolas Villebrun, the material relies on a pentatonic framework, seamlessly blending disciplined classical compositional rigor with jazz improvisational freedom. The release draws inspiration from the academic symphonies of Bruckner and Mahler, as well as the pioneering works of Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Pink Floyd, and Kraftwerk. The result is a deeply atmospheric, meditative listening experience exploring themes of human nature, chance, and the unknown.
