Stephen Edwards - Ave Maria Mass, Revelation & Suite for the Americas (2026) [Hi-Res]

American composer Stephen Edwards presented the archival album Ave Maria Mass, Revelation & Suite for the Americas, spanning twenty years of his creative work and uniting sacred music, classical music, and soundtrack music. The core of the release is the Latin-texted Ave Maria Mass, commissioned by Domino's founder Thomas S. Monaghan and premiered in 2004 at Carnegie Hall by conductor Dr. Candace Wicke and a 200-voice choir. The second major work is the dramatic setting Revelation, based on the Book of Revelation and recorded in two phases: the vocal arrangements were tracked in New York City in 2004, while the orchestral parts were captured in Prague in 2008, with Stephen Edwards later combining and mixing the layers in his studio. The final section features the orchestral cycle Suite for the Americas, dedicated to the natural landscapes, historical heritage, and service members of the United States. Stephen Edwards' compositional style bridges symphonic music, traditional liturgical music, and cinematic orchestral storytelling.
