Mystery - Destiny? (1998) Flac

Destiny? (1998) is the full-length debut of the Quebec band Mystery, which laid a solid foundation for their subsequent status as one of the flagships of North American neo-prog. Project leader Michel St-Père spent several years polishing and producing the material to perfection, bringing in vocalist Gary Savoie. The album is an elegant, emotional, and polished work, where lush symphonic keyboard textures combine with expressive melodicism and guitar drive. In 2013, the band released a completely re-recorded and remixed version (Destiny? 10th Anniversary Edition), but the original 1998 release remains a valuable document of their early era.
