Nuova Era - Il passo del soldato (1995)

Il passo del soldato (2013) is one of the most coherent and conceptually mature works in Nuova Era's discography. Entitled "The Soldier's Step," the album is a dramatic anti-war and existential statement, exploring themes of human suffering, destruction, internal struggle, and blind obedience to orders. Walter Rivorio constructs a vast sonic fresco, returning the band to the dense, dark, and rich symphonic rock that earned Nuova Era their status as the foremost guardians of the RPI tradition in the 1990s.
