Ad Astra - Beyond Our Bounds (2007)

Beyond Our Bounds (2007) is a key studio release in Ad Astra's discography, setting a high standard for European technical and melodic progressive metal of the second half of the 2000s. The album is a thoughtful conceptual canvas, rich with polyrhythmic structures, virtuosic neoclassical passages, and expansive symphonic arrangements. The band demonstrated a delicate balance between technical complexity, the heaviness of neoclassical metal riffs, and powerful melody.
