Darsombra - Dumesday Book (2023)

Dumesday Book (2023) is the most ambitious and ambitious project in the discography of the Maryland-based duo Darsombra, consisting of guitarist/vocalist Brian Daniloski and video artist/percussionist Ann Kimura. Conceived and recorded during pandemic isolation and subsequent nomadic RV touring, the album is a 75-minute sonic journey, its title a nod to the medieval Domesday Book. The release chronicles modern apocalypse, isolation, hope, and transcendent transhumanism through the lens of cinematic psychedelia.
