Little River Band – Beginnings (2000)

Little River Band – Beginnings (2000) is a valuable historical compilation documenting the musical roots and solo/early projects of three key members and primary songwriters of Australian soft rock legends Little River Band (LRB). After suffering legal losses in a battle over the rights to the band's original name, Glenn Shorrock, Beeb Birtles, and Graham Goble released this collection to illuminate the musical evolution leading up to LRB's formation in 1975. Featuring rare tracks, singles, and album recordings from their previous bands (including Zoot, Mississippi, Twilights, and Allison Durbin), the release vividly demonstrates how their signature vocal polyphony and melodic style developed.
