Available starting tomorrow, Friday, September 25, in CD, vinyl, and digital formats, is 'MUSTANG', the new album of unreleased tracks by Biagio Antonacci (released under the Iris label and distributed by Epic Records/Sony Music Italy). The album contains 9 tracks, including the first single released last spring, 'You & me': And the song written by Antonacci and produced by Juli, 'L’ultima canzone'. Also featured is the new single, 'Spiritualé', which will be on the radio from Friday, with one of the most appreciated new names of the Italian music scene, Sayf, joining the Milanese singer-songwriter. Along with the track, starting Friday, the accompanying video will also be available—a video directed by Gaetano Morbioli, which Antonacci was determined to shoot in a place very dear to him: the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, where the artist has just completed his second residency in two years, once again selling out as part of the Festival Tener-a-mente Equinozio. 'MUSTANG' is this and much more; above all, it is an album with freedom at its core: the freedom of wild west horses, electric guitars, fast cars—the freedom that tells the most untamed part of our soul, which, as the singer-songwriter emphasizes, 'will always keep running because perhaps it is right that it should never be tamed, despite a life full of commitments and responsibilities.' Here is the full tracklist: 01. Mustang, 02. Capirai, 03. Vivere con un'idea, 04. Facile, 05. Spiritualé (feat. Sayf), 06. You&Me, 07. Certe verità, 08. Coppia di passaggio, 09. L'ultima canzone (prod. by Juli). In addition to the new album, Antonacci is celebrating the achievements of his 'Unplugged 2026' tour, which this summer took him with great success to Sicily, his beloved Puglia, and the Vittoriale Amphitheater in Gardone Riviera (BS), where Biagio and his band had already held a residency in September 2024, bringing the number of sold-out shows at the Vittoriale to 20. The tour arrived on Tuesday at the Teatro Grande in Pompei (NA) for the final part of this extraordinary journey through some of the most beautiful and artistically significant places in our country: all 10 dates in Pompei (September 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30 and October 2, 3, 4) are already sold out. 'Performing at the Teatro Grande in Pompei is a unique emotion,' says Antonacci after coming off stage following the second show. 'The extraordinary strength of this place can truly be felt when walking through this exceptional territory, a true open-air museum that stretches from the sea to the slopes of Vesuvius and the Lattari Mountains. The Villa of Poppea in Oplontis, Villa Regina in Boscoreale, Villa Arianna and Villa San Marco in Stabia, together with the Libero D'Orsi Archaeological Museum, are all pieces of a single great story that speaks of history, art, and culture. Bringing music to these places means contributing to the appreciation of an extraordinary heritage and inviting the public to discover its richness and beauty in every expression.' 'This tour has been by far the most beautiful of my life,' says Antonacci. 'Not only was I able to sing and play in places steeped in history and art, but I also got to wander through the streets, bars, and markets of the cities that hosted me, getting to know the culture, the cuisine, and the people better. From the beauty of Tindari to my father's homeland, Puglia, through the warm embrace of Garda and the grandeur of Pompei, these concerts have been a gift not only for those who have followed me for many years but also for myself, as I rediscovered the joy of making music while looking my audience in the eyes.'
