Alberto N. A. Turra - The TAAN Trio walks the Major Arcana walk (2026) [Hi-Res]

Milanese guitarist and composer Alberto N. A. Turra, acclaimed by Musica Jazz for his passionate and intellectually rigorous playing style, has crafted an ambitious new project with The TAAN Trio. Released via Ropeadope SUR, the album is titled walks the Major Arcana walk.

The musical concept comprises 22 tracks structured as an exploration of the Major Arcana Tarot symbolism. Each piece traverses a distinct spectrum of human emotional states—ranging from sorrow and trepidation to anger and joy. To execute this avant-garde jazz and chamber vision, Alberto N. A. Turra assembled an expanded ensemble: alongside The TAAN Trio members Filippo Rinaldo on keyboards and Stefano Grasso on drums and percussion, the record features a string section consisting of violist Laura Safadi, violinist Angelica Pierri, and double bassist Pietro Procopio.
