Ella Fitzgerald - Best of Ella Fitzgerald (2026)

Universal Music Division Decca Records France will release Best of Ella Fitzgerald on October 2, 2026, as a digital compilation of jazz and vocal jazz recordings. The collection features a carefully curated selection of tracks spanning the singer’s prolific career, primarily consisting of recordings made for Verve in the mid-1950s under producer Norman Granz. It also includes earlier recordings made for Decca in 1950 and 1954, as well as recordings from 1957 to 1960. Notable performances include collaborations with Louis Armstrong, as well as arrangements by Buddy Bregman and Sy Oliver. This anthology brings together iconic standards from Ella Fitzgerald’s repertoire rather than recordings from a single session.
