Talking to the Moon (2017) is the seminal studio album by the international project Last Knight, led by Spanish composer and multi-instrumentalist José Manuel Mesina. The recording features an impressive lineup of guest musicians, including the former vocalist of Kscope/The Reasoning and members of various European art-rock bands. The album is an elegiac conceptual canvas exploring themes of loneliness, nocturnal reflections, human memory, and the search for spiritual refuge. The record marks a milestone in the project's discography, seamlessly blending the traditions of 1970s Europrog with the melodic influences of 1990s neoprog and rich Celtic folklore.
