EK-R: Five Stages of Transformation is an immersive musical journey through change, loss, acceptance and renewal. Inspired by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ philosophy, Boris Bergmann’s compelling new work for cello, piano and spoken word features acclaimed Swiss cellist Raphael Zweifel as performer, narrator and vocalist. Blending music by Bergmann, Bach and Britten with the evocative texts of Winfried Dulisch, the album offers a deeply moving exploration of the human experience.
