"California Here We Come" is a pristine, deeply communicative, and elegantly swinging masterclass in Modern Acoustic Chamber Jazz and Vibraphone-Led Post-Bop. Centered around the rare and hypnotic sonic interplay between Tony Miceli’s luminous vibraphone and Anthony Smith’s articulate, harmonic piano touch, the album captures the intimacy of a live jazz club performance combined with high-resolution studio fidelity.
