Superfan - My Piledriver Heart (2026) [Hi-Res]

Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Kali Priya Flanagan leads Superfan, a musical project whose noisy and magnetic pop soundscape was shaped through ambitious collaboration with cellist Omeed Almassi. Marking Flanagan's first release as an independent artist following the end of a record deal signed at age 14, the album My Piledriver Heart presents an expanded, experimental vision of indie rock. The record merges deeply tuned acoustic guitar, cello, and Eastern influences into a signature "Acousticello" sound.

Recorded largely live alongside Omeed Almassi and producer Hudson Pollock, the album explores heartbreak, independence, and hopeful melancholia through intimate performances that blur the boundaries between folk, chamber music, pop-rock ballads, and alternative rock.

Following the acclaim of the debut Tow Truck Jesus, Kali Priya Flanagan opened for The Strokes at Red Rocks and became a fixture of New York’s DIY scene, sharing stages with Horsegirl, Knifeplay, Quiet Light, King Woman, and Victoryland. Flanagan also performs with the rising emo group Holidays in United States.
