After emerging in the 11th season of Star Academy, which aired between 2023 and 2024, French singer Julien Lieb has risen to prominence on the charts and digital platforms. With a sound that combines contemporary pop, emotional ballads, and electronic production, he built a repertoire focused on vocal expressiveness and confessional lyrics. Lieb began singing in childhood and used music to cope with significant personal experiences, including the loss of his father, a theme that runs throughout his writing. After reaching the final of the program, he began his solo career with the single “Encore une fois,” followed by “Le Jeu,” certified gold in France, and “Autrement,” which broadened his commercial reach. In 2025, he released his first album, Naufragé, which consolidated his artistic identity and included collaborations with OTTA, Soprano, and Marilou. That same year, he won the Francophone Male Revelation award at the NRJ Music Awards in 2025. In 2026, he continued his discography with the single “Se solo” and a collaboration with Laura Pausini on “La dernière chanson (Due vite).” He maintained his presence on platforms and stages and toured France, including a performance at the Olympia in Paris.
