The 5th Dimension - Earthbound (Reissue, Remastered) (2014) CD Rip

The album marked the band's long-awaited reunion with renowned composer and producer Jimmy Webb, who helped forge their early hits. However, unlike the orchestral sunshine pop of previous years, Earthbound took on a more contemporary, funky, and experimental sound for its time. The release's key musical signature was the extensive use of analog synthesizers, a departure from The 5th Dimension's usual style.
The recording also featured renowned jazz fusion guitarist Larry Coryell, whose acoustic solos embellished the compositions. Furthermore, the track "Magic in My Life" became the band's first single to feature Florence LaRue on lead vocals.
